Come have fun and learn something new at one of our specialy classes or demos.
 OESD Virtual Training Programs
Mathews Sewing Center is pleased to offer OESD's Virtual Training Education Programs. These inspirational programs are offered at the store, and are presented by OESD educators via internet and conference call.
We hope you can attend these programs. (no cost for the programs)
All programs will begin at 1:00 pm
(Please arrive a few minutes early)
The following programs are scheduled:
- Wednesday, January 21st - Learn to Landscap with Nancy Prince
Nancy Prince is a world renowned thread painter who has an eye for creating very realistic landscapes and has created a series of Embroidered Landscapes kits.
These Embroidered Landscape kits not only include a CD with digitized designs, but they also include custom printed background fabric, custom printed accessory fabric (houses, barns, quilts, etc) plus instructions to complete the quilt top. See how easy it is to create your own masterpiece in a fraction of the time.
- Wednesday, February 18th - Vicki Tracy - Travel 'n Style
Vicki Tracy outdid herself with her newest Premier Collection "Travel-n-Style". Join us for our presentation of the projects in this great assortment and see where your imagination takes you. Even if you only travel around the block, there is something in this collection that you'll want.
This collection is a must for your sewing library, and the finished projects are great for gift giving.
- Wednesday, March 18th - Stabilizers - The Mystery Solved
The mystery of stabilizers will be solved as we give you tips for choosing the right stabilizer every time. We will share techniques for proper hoping, and show you the new stabilizers and how each one is used. We will give you step by steps on how to use great embroidery products that will improve the quality of your embroidery.

- Tuesday, May 19th - For the Boys
Father's Day is approaching. What are you going to do?
Join OESD for quick and easy embroidery projects geared for the special man or boy in your life. Whether that guy in your life is a sports enthusiast, an outdoor lover or a car guy there will be something for everyone in this session. Come check out embroidery designs that are just for the boys.
We'll also discuss proper stabilization of hard to hoop items such as ball caps, fleece blankets, t-shirts and more. This is a can't miss class!
- Wednesday, June 17th - 1 Hour Projects
Only have an hour to create something wonderful? Want to create a fun "in the hoop" project?
Join us as we guide you through the steps of exciting one hour projects.
Then it's your turn! You will have the instructions to guide you through the process, but you get to make them your own!.
